Our Trip to Seaside, FL

We loved visiting 30A! Hutt and I would just walk around and talk about how neat and different this community was. I loved seeing all the different architecture and colors for the houses. My favorite thing was the different personalities that each neighborhood had. Such a neat place to visit and we will be going back.

Where we stayed:

We stayed right next to Rosemary Beach in a condo. We knew we wouldn't be in our room much so we didn't care as much where it was. We loved all the houses you can rent but it didn't make sense for just the 2 of us. We loved our condo! It was perfect for us and so clean! I would recommend this for anyone. It was easy to get to and right behind shops and restaurants.

Where we ate:

Seagrove Village Market

When we finally got to town we unpacked our things and went to search for some dinner before it got to crowded. We had heard about this market so we decided to stop by and check it out. It was so unique. You walk into the market and then in the back is the restaurant with maybe enough room for 10 people and then a small patio for about 20 people. They first sat us inside but I asked if we could sit on the patio. So worth it. Hutt got the shrimp and grits and I got their famous hamburger. It was delicious. Their hushpuppies were the best! We almost ate here twice it was so good!

The Meltdown on 30A

The coolest airstream food trucks are parked right on 30A across from the beach. After a morning on the beach I went over and got a grilled cheese. I picked the _______. It was delicious. It is hard for me to say no to a caprese panini.

Shrimp Shack

While I had a sandwich, Hutt stopped by the Shrimp Shack which had a beach entrance. He got some gulf shrimp and some royal red shrimp. He loved it! He was a happy hubby. Loved this shack!

Frostbites

We had to try seaside's famous snowcones from Frostbites. I tried the Black Cherry and Hubby got the Grape. It was refreshing but we still like our Bahama Bucks!

Great Southern Cafe

This was my favorite restaurant! I love eating breakfast out and this was no exception. After a lazy morning we drove over to the cafe. We started with an appetizer of benigants and fresh fruit. It was a yummy start. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and hubby ordered eggs, toast, and hash browns. I won the ordering battle. It was the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. So yummy that I wanted to go back the next day but we decided to head to the beach instead.

Stinky's Fish Camp

This was our last night and we were trying to figure out where to go to get shrimp one last time for Hutt. We were randoming searching for somewhere to eat and decided to give Stinky's a try. We were so glad we went. We had about an hour wait but it was so worth it! You could go to the bait shop and listen to live music while you waited. Hutt got the Stinky's stew and it was so good. He ended the trip with his favorite meal. Their motto is "With a name like Stinky's it better be good" and it was!

Summer Bucket List

This is my first official summer off as a teacher and I am so excited! We will be going on 5 trips this summer so I won't have the dull summer to play catch up. Here are some items that I would like to accomplish on the days that I will be in town.

-Set up a Binder System for our house like these.
-Find some summer recipes.
-Go on a short vacation with my husband to a sweet town in Florida
-Visit the camp where we met 12 years ago
-Create some products for the new school year
-Get as much done for my classroom ahead of time
-Spend as much time at the pool that I can
-Go on #tanclanvacy in Galveston
